On March 15, the Hidden Haven Youth House Community Office officially opened its doors, offering new opportunities for young people to come together and grow. The event featured a rich program, allowing visitors to enjoy artistic, cultural, and informational presentations.
The event was opened by the project manager, who emphasized the role of the community office in young people’s daily lives and the importance of community work. They highlighted that the office’s goal is not only to provide job opportunities and programs but also to create a supportive environment that encourages independent thinking and social responsibility.
As the event continued, Vilmos Lehócki, president of the Flow-E.r. Association, spoke about the opportunities within the community office, emphasizing the organization’s dedication to supporting and assisting youth.
A three-minute video, created by volunteers, was also presented, offering a glimpse into the spirit of the community office and the project’s objectives.
The program continued with cultural performances that entertained the audience. Violinist Zsolt Dér delighted attendees with a beautiful musical performance, while the Choir of the Senta High School, led by Kinga Bíró Magyari, enriched the event with passionate and heartfelt choral pieces.
Beáta Kálmán, a community organizer, introduced the 100 Youth Projects initiative, which offers young people numerous opportunities to actively participate in shaping their communities and engaging in recreational activities.
To conclude the event, participants tested their knowledge in a fun quiz.
Volunteer Ella Király shared her thoughts on youth experiences and roles, emphasizing that young people’s active participation is essential in building the communities of the future.
The opening of the Hidden Haven Youth House Community Office represents not just a new venue but a fresh start for young people, providing them with a space where they can find support, inspiration, and opportunities for personal growth.
