GenerACTION

Projekt Description: The aim of the GenerACTION project is to build mutual trust between youth organizations, institutions, and generations Y, Z, and Alpha. This is achieved through peer-to-peer (P2P) activities that foster a better understanding of the specific needs of these groups. The project also aims to bridge the generational gap between youth workers (Generations X and Y) and their target groups, the youth from Generations Y, Z, and Alpha, to ensure more effective and sensitive services for young people.

Additional Goals:

  • Build cross-border connections between youth-related sectors.
  • Procure tools needed for identifying best practices.
  • Organize cross-border events suitable for exchanging experiences.
  • Develop a publication and a digital platform for sharing success stories.

Expected Results:

Investments in the modernization of two civil society organizations.

  • Procurement of two minibuses (nine seats, low emissions) — one in Hungary, one in Serbia.
  • Acquisition of equipment necessary for mobile youth services (speakers, games for online and offline use, portable tables and chairs, mobile tents, sports equipment, etc.).

Organization of events that support cross-border cooperation:

  • Opening Conference inDOKK 2024 in Szeged, Hungary, with over 50 participants from 22+ youth organizations from Serbia and Hungary.
  • Closing Conference inDOKK 2025 in Senta, Serbia, with over 50 participants from 22+ youth organizations from Serbia and Hungary.

Organization of cross-border study visits and festivals:

  • Visits to eight festivals (four in Hungary, four in Serbia) promoting international opportunities for youth, including the creation of Instant Newspapers to popularize the events.
  • Organization of 12 study visits and partnership-building meetings (six in Hungary, six in Serbia) for youth workers, teachers, and youth leaders from both countries.

Development of an interactive digital platform and methodological publication:

  • Collection of 20 adaptable good practice examples to strengthen communication between youth workers and young people, which will be published in three languages (English, Serbian, Hungarian).
  • Creation of an interactive online website to present 22 youth organizations and provide public access to collected best practices.
